kmca
One of my 550's doesn't quite come to rest with the shell plate high enough to rotate. I've been looking at this thing and it's schematic diagram and I can't figure what makes the ram come to rest where it does. It's an older press and my others don't have that problem. What am I missing? Any ideas? Thought I'd check here, before I call DIllon.
Guest
Maybe replace the primer slide spring that is under the primer cup? I replaced that spring on my old 550 and was suprised at how weak the old one had become.
kmca
Thanks for the reply. It made me look at the loader again and the spring on the powder drop was a little "loose". Tightened it up and it's fine
