whoflungdo Posted April 29, 2015 Share Posted April 29, 2015 I just got a Limited and am having issues getting ammo to run. I did a casting of barrel and determined OAL of 1.175. FN Ranier will jam up on feed ramp from 1.175 down to 1.160. I got a sample pack of Bayou 200 grn RN and can run them out to 1.175 no problem. Has anyone else seen this? Do these guns not run FN? CZinSC Posted April 29, 2015 Share Posted April 29, 2015 Not sure about the FP OAL issue, but what mags are you using? K10 or K40? If you're using K40's, you're going to have issues loading that long. Max OAL with K40's is 1.145. If you try loading 20 rounds at 1.175, you're going to get the salt shaker ( ie: rounds getting stuck in the mag tube ). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They all run round nose at 1.175 as well as SWC at 1.175. I can load 20 with out salt shaker. I will try to run FN at 1.145 and see if they are more reliable. If I want to run long should I get K10?
