5.25 Slide dimmension differences?

Ok i know that you can switch between 9mm and 40 slides but i am curious if there is anything different with there size. The reason i ask is noticed when you order a blade tech holster you order one for the 5.25 9/40. I was looking at the comp tac international holster and they have one for 5.25 9 and 5.25 9/40. So is there a difference between the size of the slides? I was comparing my 5.25 40 slide and my 3.8 9mm slide and cannot see anything obvious.
