Justifying 9mm 1911 purchase?

replacing the ILS is no big deal. I bought the EGW magwell and MSH for my loaded and basically removed the ILS, took out the mainspring and plunger, popped them into the new EGW MSH, put it on, bolted on the magwell. no problem. I actually prefer the EGW to the S+A. I think it was cheaper too from brownells. you can also run it without the magwell but still with the EGW MSH. from memory the S+A is one piece.

here's my loaded.

just some basic stuff. new recoil spring of course, wilson checkered front strap (no checkering on the front strap bothered me), EGW magwell and MSH, wilson combat mag release and wilson combat hex head mag release lock.
