XxWoodsHunterxX
Rt1200... No video. The trick is using the right cutter. Dillon sends a cutter for steel with no chip breaker. If you feed it too fast, it leaves a crappy cut and gnarly burrs on it. What cutter do you use Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
jmorris
And are you cutting the case before hand or trimming an entire .223 case down?
Brassaholic13
I use a carbide insert for brass, mulching the entire neck off a full length case.
jmorris
The Dillon insert is carbide, I think he was asking what specific insert you are using, with the chip breaker, coated etc. A less than idea cut at faster speeds may be due to the reduced dwell of the rotary.? A video of your process would be cool if you have a second next time you have it running.

Yes do you have any specifics as I've purchased a couple others than dillon a with chip breakers and they don't do as good as a dillon Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
