RTS 2 for Open Glock?

So I am saving money up and planning the build of an open Glock, As the Title Says I am interested in using a Cmore RTS2 for the optic. I like the idea of a Slide Mount for this build and want to machine it down into the rear of the slide.

Question 1 - How much of the rear of the Glock slide can be machined away, I wish I had one on hand to take measurements of, meaning what limitations, it looks like most start forward of the rear of the slide, I suppose this is to accommodate for the rear cover plate. there must be a max depth before you get to the internals, and a forward limit, probably considering the extractor cut.

Question 2 - Does anyone have exact dimensions of the base of the RTS 2 and the mounting method, I have been unable to find any type of mounting instructions.
