Match format, schedule and squadding

Hi all,

I'm posting here the match format we used for our Level III match held near Milan in April 2004.

In this match we were able to host some 300 competitors shooting all 5 IPSC recognized divisions, on a 10stages+ chrono basis.

Here you can download the Match format, a 20KB Excel file with stage rough description and squadding schedule.

The match was shot on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with each competitor shooting the whole match in a single day.

Roughly, we had some 60 competitors shooting on Friday (from noon to afternoon), and 130 competitors shooting the whole day (see table) on Saturday and Sunday.

Prize awarding started @ about 17:30, as soon as final results were posted.

For any further detail, just ask and I'll gladly add whatever I might have left out.

Just one comment...

What I found helpful is if you, depending on your daylight, add another squad and have floating lunch break (in this case 45min) from ±10:30 to 15:00. This will ensure that you do not over-crowd your food stalls/kitchen/vendors/whatever and you can add another squad to the match without disruptions.
