Mikelindsey
I'm having problems with setting up the powder check right. I move the lower nut down and get no travel with the blue buzzer. I raise it a little and it moves too much in. I'm trying to start with loading .45 first and using the large push rod. Anyone know where I'm going wrong. I'm so frustrated that I have ab RCBS lock out about to order. Looks so much simpler. Should I do that and send my three powder checks back to Dillon. I like the idea of a noise if something goes wrong but this thing is a newbies frustration.
calvinc78
Set the die a 1/8-1/4 above the shell plate when it's fully raised then adjust ur alarm rod so its touching the shell plate and alarming. Next place a piece of brass with the correct charge in it and adjust the brass powder check rod so that it is not alarming and its pretty much set up.... Goggle: Dillon powder check setup video...
