45inwillis Posted May 19, 2013 Share Posted May 19, 2013 My RIA GI model with new Wilson 8 round mags won't lock on the last round.With slide off, slide stop in, mag inserted, it looks like mag follower overrides the slide stop and slide stop butts into follower from the side.Should slide stop be replaced? 45inwillis Posted May 21, 2013 Author Share Posted May 21, 2013 I sent email to Wilson Combat and they responded right away saying RIA has a wide range of tolerances and their mags may not work in my gun. I also emailed RIA and they also responded right away saying they will send a new slide stop to try. Excellent customer service response from both companies. Wish all were like that.
