Reinz
Besides being messy, I don;t have the space for converting over to SS tumbling. I do use a full hard core Darth Varder allergy breathing mask when emptying my tumbler and separating.outside. polizei1
I do all my brass cleaning in my garage. Door open in the summer, but shut in the winter. I use a Lyman tumbler with crushed walnuts. I also take a dryer sheet and rip into 3 pieces. Throw that in the tumbler, and I also put a small towel on top of the tumbler. This virtually eliminates all the dust during the cleaning, and once it's done I separate it, and clean up the tumbler. For me, there really isn't much dust at all, so I don't worry about it. I used to do it in my basement but I do agree, you shouldn't do it. Either move it to a garage, outside, or convert to SS wet media.
