If it really is plastic, then I would be concerned that the stud could rip loose if you put too much forward or backward pressure on the extended legs. Graham Smith Posted October 11, 2012 Share Posted October 11, 2012 I've got one on a Clarke Carbon Fiber tube and it works just fine. I've seen a number of them like this.
