Graham Smith
Without commenting on their policies, I am looking for an alternative to Google Shopping (formerly Froogle). This service used to be a free extension of their browser and was a good place to find a round up of internet offerings, but it is transitioning to a paid service for advertisers. This has two effects on the shopper. One is that they will find that paid advertisers get top spot on any product list. And second some products that advertisers are not allowed to advertise will no longer produce any results at all. It's still possible to find products without these issues coming up using regular Google search, but it's not as convenient. Does anyone use anything similar to Google Shopping they can suggest? I've tried Yahoo Shopping in the past and been underwhelmed. Again please refrain from commenting on the details of the policy and starting a debate that will get this thread closed. There are plenty of other places where you can discuss that aspect of this.
