I realized I can align the top curve of the dot module with the curved relief cut sides on the bottom part of the lense. They form a preferct parabola and viola the dot is there! I know, I know...it isn't the smartest way and I should be developing my index for it. But a couple of double sided tapes and some scotch tape isn't the smartest way to mount it either.
