It's the first time I've applied for one since DFAIT began using an on-line format. You wind up having to complete 6 or more screens of information, but can't move forward until the current screen is fully filled in. I didn't realize I'd made a math error on the total value of the good until after I submitted it. Fortunately, they are free, and as far as I know, there is nothing preventing me from simply parking it and applying for the right dollar amount. My Brownells fix is worth it.
