Mark R Posted May 25, 2011 Share Posted May 25, 2011 I had a Witness Carry Comp in 40 that was DA/SA...a gunsmith only replaced the trigger to get it to SA. He did not replace the hammer. Then if you ever send you pistol back to EAA for warranty work, they will automatically take it back to DA stating a safety issue. FWIW. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Only need to take out the interruptor and you will have single action but it will have a very long take up when pulling the trigger. For best results would pay to change the hammer and trigger but at a pinch just changing the trigger and removing the interruptor would be a better move than the hammer.
