Dawson Adj Sight Question Which One?

I did some searching on adjustable sights and the consesnus appears to be use a Dawson with FO front. However, I noticed that Dawson has 2 types of Adj Sights is one better than the other?

I was thinking of getting the Bomar Style as I prefer those on my 1911.

Any feedback would be appreciated

I talked to them about both rears. One is not better than the other - it just depends on which style the shooter prefers.

I went with 017-012 which is the smaller adjustable rear sight with a flat rear, and made for the .285 or .300 tall front sight. It was simply a matter of personal preference.

Call them and talk to their sight tech too, if you have any questions. They were great on the phone.

Spoke to the tech. No real difference, personnel preference. Though he recommended using the non bomar style since it used a lower front sight blade

Both of Dave's rear sights are great, it's just a matter of which one you like the best. Call them and talk to them about what you want. They are really great to talk to, and will go all out to help you get what you need.
