HS101
Just stippled the grip / forend of my shotgun. Love the feeling of working on my own guns! I started competing a little over 2 years ago, and just changing the recoil spring or polishing the trigger seemed like a job that I should pay someone else to do "just to be safe". Now, lots of studying, talking to people who work on their own guns, talking to gunsmiths, watching forums and some blind experimentation later, I am gleefully "attacking" my toys with dremels, soldering irons, files, etc... my Glocks, revolvers, AR's and shotguns have all felt my "healing touch" From opening up a loading port, to building a AR from the ground up, I feel my confidence grow with each project. Wow, to look back and truly understand how little I knew 2 years ago - both about the guns themselves and about gun safety... I really should have titled this post "I love all aspects of our sport"
