I thought it was the Spartan since the mags fed perfectly for days on end. Then it just stopped. Then.....read two posts below. oak hill Posted February 12, 2011 Share Posted February 12, 2011 Welcome to 1911 9mm ! Great guns to shoot, but can be tricking to get them running right. I started with Mec-Gar mags and opened up the feed lips so they hit the feed ramp a bit higher. You might want to try a different brand mags to see if you can isolate the problme. But one good thing came of this: I'll now read about extractor tension and opening up the feed lips, and learn something new. Thanks! Which leads me to a whole new thread....
