Jeff686
I'm getting a new barrel put on my Gold Team. I currently have a factory barrel, factory comp, and V8 orientation. I'm running an Aimpoint CompC with a blast shield that really gets chewed up. The slide and frame are currently chrome (mix of matte and mirror polish). I'm not a big fan of the shiny polished chrome, so I'm considering geting it refinished. Maybe only the slide for a two-tone look, or the whole gun. I'm going to have Canyon Creek fit the barrel and make me a compensator. However, I'm not really sure what other options I should choose. I like the look of the round compensator over the boxy squareish Ti one. Regardless of material, I'll ask for that shape. If you vote, tell me why! Add comments. I'm specifically wondering if the Ti comp is worth it, and why. I'm also considering putting in fewer popple holes, since blasting gas into the scope blast shield is not productive.
