Replacing my Barrel

Please excuse the ignorance:

I've got a factory Gold Team V8. I need a new barrel, but don't really understand what parts I can reuse, and what parts must be replaced.

My factory barrel seems to have 3 'parts'. The main barrel with the lug and chamber, the cone (does the job of a 1911 bushing), and the compensator. Do these come apart?

The new Briley barrels (from Henning) come only with the barrel, have no cone shape and no compensator.

To fit a new barrel, does the cone and compensator from the factory assembly work? If so, how do they attach?

Or, do I need a new cone, or compensator, or both? If so, how do they attach?
