Iggy42 Posted January 6, 2011 Share Posted January 6, 2011 Ok so my birthday is comming up and my wifes' bosses family (the guy my wife works for) has made it known that he wants to get me a Tanfoglio Limited (not an EAA Limited, but the Tanfoglio Limited Custom as availible in Italy) however what I don't know and I am worried about is if this is even possible. Can he have family their purchase the gun and ship it over to my local FFL, or do I have to get the EAA version since they are the liscensed US importer? For those that may ask, he wants to get the Italian version since he is an Italian immigrant so when he heard that I was interested in an Italian firearm he was quite excited and wants me to use the "real" thing, not the one made to be sold here in the States. Slim Pickens Posted January 6, 2011 Share Posted January 6, 2011 (edited) Not sure if it's easier in terms of paperwork but I know you can get Tanfoglios in Canada and I suspect it would be easier than getting one sent over from Italy.
