Do these motions but with a very small amount of resistance, such as 1 to 2 lbs. The key is adding the weight but keeping speed of movement very close - much like the common practice among pro baseball players of training with a small weighted ring at the end of the bat.

I would recommend working on being smooth and relaxed. If you push yourself too hard with a heart condition, bad things can happen. So I would work on being smooth and having a good time. And, you know what they say, "slow is smooth, and smooth is fast."
