Rubber Gloves for Reloading

That may be true, but it's easier to strip off a pair of gloves before you go eat lunch than to scrub all the lead off your fingers. ;)

Lead indeed does not get absorbed through your skin, but I don't see how wearing gloves eliminates the need to wash your hands... with me it is automatic as soon as I go upstairs.

Wearing gloves when cleaning cases, separating the media... makes sense , but the main source of contamination will be airborne dust that you inhale, and that one absorbs like crazy through your lungs.

For this reason I built an exhaust hood under which all that stuff takes place. Gloves don't prevent the dust from getting in the air, on your cloth, hair, etc.

I also put spouts on my tumblers, so I don't take their lids off, and when I dump it all in the separator, I get a nice small stream, not stuff all over the place.
