joestefano
Is there a technological difference between the way the red dot is displayed in the lens? C-More STS vs Ultra Dot LT vs Docter?
matt2ace
No, they all use a diode as the light source. There may be some differences in how they achieve the dot size.
joestefano
How about the way the dot is projected on the lens? I think I have heard the term "paralux???" The reason I am asking is that I have an STS on one gun and a Ultra Dot LT on another, it seems that I can place the dot of the Ultra Dot on the center of the target but if the gun is not level, my shot is low or high. With the STS to place the dot on the target the gun has to be level. Both guns are Glocks the Ultra is mounted on the slide and the STS is on an SJC Frame mount. I am thinking of buying a Docter to replace the Ultra but I'm trying to figure out if it is me or the sight that is giving me the trouble.
