Intro to IDPA class

I helped out at an intro to IDPA class at one of my regular clubs today. It was great watching 14 shooters (many of whom had never shot from the holster before) learn to be safe competitors and have a good time. Everyone did very well safety wise and there were some pretty good shooters in there too. Great to chalk up 14 more people I'll be happy to see come to the line when I SO.

I highly recommend putting one of these together at your club or helping out if you already do it. There are plenty of people out there curious about our sports who are a little too intimidated to just come to a match. Seeing that light go on when they realize that static shooting at a single target will never be the same is a great feeling.
