  1. Thanks for the tips Carmoney and pskys2! I appreciate that. I'm right handed. I assume by now I'm milking/ muscling the revolver at speed. At fast dry firing I detected an increasingly grip pressure on the revolver. So I need to get a steady, constant grip without compromising trigger speed. Shomer
  2. Hi six shooters, Thanks for all your thoughts about which technique to use. Pull through seems to be the technique for fast revolver and accurate shooting. Did test this technique at the shooting range. Target at 15 yards. What I found out in pull through: - pull through feels very natural. Staging is indeed significantly slower. - at slow speed no problem(nice groups) but at increasing speeds the front sight jumps aside resulting in "flyers" Very hard to address this. - furthermore the shots are coming low and right at "full" speed. Some shots even hit the D-zone very low almost missing the target. I use the IPSC grip on my revolver(straight tumbs) and use the pad of my finger. Any training tips how to overcome the above mentioned facts? Thanks. Shomer
  3. Hi Guys, I'm new on this forum and there is a wealth of info on speed shooting etc. Just started "high speed" revolver shooting. There seem to be 2 camps regarding DA technique. - pull through or "staging" "Pull through" is in my opion faster, at least to me it is, but staging seems to give more control during the long DA pull producing more accurate shots. So I'm curious guys (and girls of course) what technique do you like and why? Thanks, Shomer Logic brings you from A to B, fantasy brings you anywhere (Albert Einstein)
