In esp or cdp can you have your grip safety pinned?
I can find where it says that in ssp the safey must be retained but I can't find anything about it in esp or cdp, where someone might want to pin their grip safety..
sno
In a club level match they may let you but in a major match where they are required to crono your rounds and check you will get DQed .
check rulebook 8.1.8 e.

Go to 8.1.8 E in the rule book. Disconnecting or disabling of any safety device manual, grip, firing pin, striker or hammer safeties is not allowed. This is in the new rule book.

I did a search and couldnt find anything on the subject of the powder die. I cant seem to adjust the die for the bell mouth. It wont bell the case without crushing it. Am I missing something?
Thanks for any advice
The powder die on a 223 does not bell the case mouth. The depriming pin shaft opens up the case mouth and the powder die simply holds the case for adding the powder.

I use clays and rainier 230 gr plated bullets. I load 3.8 to 3.9 (scales bumping back and forth) and I shoot them in a Kimber Eclipse 5in. I get consisent major of 167. I shoot this in IDPA major matches and have never had a problem.

Letting the hammer fall with the slide off of the frame. I have had the same experience.

However the ftn does not apply to a target that disappears.

My better half runs the office at a scrap yard. Someone around here brings pistol and rifle brass in 5gal buckets and sells it for scrap. I get to pick through it.

Built a storage cabinet that is 5ft tall 36 in wide and 36 in deep with drawers 4 in deep. Each drawer has three sections. when a section ( cal ) gets full. It goes into five gal bucket.

Most major matches check your loads at 10 ft. My pact says 8 ft.

I can't access this, can you help? E-mail me at rogerreloader@yahoo.com.I got mine not too long ago.I have 9mm, .40, and 45.
I've only sized 9mm but haven't loaded any at this time. I will be converting to .40 and size that, and that's mainly for my G35.
Looking to buy a used one. Anyone know where to find one?
Watch the USPSA classifieds. Every couple of months one pops up.
Do you have a web address for it?
www.uspsa.org
Go to the members area. you need the login & password from Front Sight magazine

I just got finished weighing my guns and my p18-9 weighs 42 and one quarter oz. my p16-40 weighs 40 and one half oz. That is with an empty mag in the gun.

I live less than 100 miles from precision delta and I order my bullets from Rainier. They are total copper plated and have worked well for me for the past 5 years. My friends and I get together and order at least 100,000 at a time once a year. The price is good and that many at one time shipping is included.

It was blustery today at the Missisippi State. We had a Popper that even when set as light as would stand up by itself in the occasional calm, would have to be hit at the very top with a heavy bullet to knock down when the wind was behind it. Lesser efforts and lower hits required it to be driven down. So we drove it down instead of carping and whining.
While that sounds great, that piece of steel should have been tossed as faulty or replaced with one that was not. "sucking it up" is never a good solution. Remember saying it's the same for everyone is not an acceptable answer.
What you haven't heard about this steel popper is, it was not the wind or a faulty popper. This popper was hard to knock down because it pulled two cables on it way down to activate two more targets. It was the same for everone and we were all told to shoot it high that it was hard to knock down. I shot it with a 9mm and shot it high and had no problem.
IDPA order of engagement very close steel
