  1. No steel targets can be shot at closer than 10 yards. No more than 25% of shots on a string will be on steel. No more than 10%of total shots in a match for steel targets.

  4. Go to 8.1.8 E in the rule book. Disconnecting or disabling of any safety device manual, grip, firing pin, striker or hammer safeties is not allowed. This is in the new rule book.
  5. The powder die on a 223 does not bell the case mouth. The depriming pin shaft opens up the case mouth and the powder die simply holds the case for adding the powder.
  6. I use clays and rainier 230 gr plated bullets. I load 3.8 to 3.9 (scales bumping back and forth) and I shoot them in a Kimber Eclipse 5in. I get consisent major of 167. I shoot this in IDPA major matches and have never had a problem.

  17. Combat tupperware is not for everyone. I agree stick with 1911, look at the para lda line you will like it.
  18. I just got finished weighing my guns and my p18-9 weighs 42 and one quarter oz. my p16-40 weighs 40 and one half oz. That is with an empty mag in the gun.
  19. I live less than 100 miles from precision delta and I order my bullets from Rainier. They are total copper plated and have worked well for me for the past 5 years. My friends and I get together and order at least 100,000 at a time once a year.The price is good and that many at one time shipping is included.

  22. While that sounds great, that piece of steel should have been tossed as faulty or replaced with one that was not. "sucking it up" is never a good solution. Remember saying it's the same for everyone is not an acceptable answer. What you haven't heard about this steel popper is, it was not the wind or a faulty popper. This popper was hard to knock down because it pulled two cables on it way down to activate two more targets. It was the same for everone and we were all told to shoot it high that it was hard to knock down. I shot it with a 9mm and shot it high and had no problem.
