Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Thank you, that is a great help.
  2. I want to convert my SP01 Shadow to SAO. As i understand it the conversion requires a SAO trigger and removing the disconnector. I have read some SAO conversion threads and people recommend replacing the hammer. I thought the SP01 Shadow already had an upgraded hammer, is there any benefit in changing the hammer ? When im using the gun in SA i am not experiencing an camming with the standard set up. Im looking at the Zendl SA hammers and cant see any difference between the "Competition" and "Classic" other than profile, is it just aesthetics ? Also i see some replace the sear, what is the benefit ?
  3. Thank you, that was a great result, its early days but it seems accurate, i need more range time and to sort the trigger first.
  4. I doubt mine will ever see 50k but my old 85 Combat was a fairly high round count gun and the factory rod was still 100% when i sold it on so i guess i will stick with plastic.
  5. I want it to break right around here
  6. Good to hear they are quality, i am in the UK and pistols parts are hard to source, US sellers don't want to ship internationally so i have to find parts in Europe, even then shipping is not easy and expensive. Im interested in the barrel bushing, was it worth installing ?
  7. I have a SP01 Shadow with the standard plastic guide rod, i see mention of a stainless steel guide rod, whats the advantage of stainless over plastic ?
  8. I am thinking about converting my SP01 Shadow to SAO I shoot one handed, (Bullyseye style), never use DA With the standard gun i find the SA trigger position is further back than i would like. I would like the SA break to be about the same place as the point of resistance when the hammer is in the half cock position. Im looking at the Zendl SA triggers and they come in 4 flavours, Straight, Back Shifted, Forward shifted, Extra forward shifted. Has anybody used the Zendl triggers ? Im wondering which one to use and how much adjustment there is.
  9. New member just saying hello, i have been reading a few threads and thought i had better stop lurking. Some good information on here, its a great resource, thanks for having me.
