I used the CR Speed with my Czechmate, but DAA makes an insert for the Czechmate in their holsters as well and it worked fine when I still had it.

I bought 5k to mess around with since they were so cheap. They'll be relegated to being used in guns that aren't sensitive to primer hardness, like my 38spl lever gun and PCC.
I've shot just under 1k of them now, with one true dud as @Hesedtech mentioned. I thought it was just a light strike, tried to set it off multiple times and it wouldn't go at all. Otherwise, it was fine. Not fantastic in my Shadow 2 in terms of light strikes (would go off on a subsequent DA strike), went just fine in my stock Glock and aforementioned lever gun and PCC.
Seems acceptable for practice in guns that aren't finicky with primer hardness.

I carry appendix with a P-01 omega with the Trex Arms Sidecar holster. It's functional and my gun has a TLR7-A and is milled for a dot.

I'm also interested. Have been looking for one to modify to fit my CZ97B.

IDPA CO?

I use a PT insert for my MPA. Works great -- same minimal wiggle, but that can be solved with a muzzle support if you are so inclined.

What is the vortex dot
Vortex Defender-ST. Lots of social media shilling over it, but they've reportedly solved the refresh rate issues on the older Vortex Defender CCW. Window size is a little smaller than SRO/507Comp.

I broke my first one instantly during the first range session while zeroing. RMAed and they sent me a brand new one, and the zero shifted on me in under 500 rounds on my P-10F. I'll probably RMA it or put it on a steel challenge gun, but I'm not buying any new ones going forward.
The new Vortex dot looks good to me.

Could just look at Lightning and Thunder to see a messed up classifier. I think most C class dudes could realistically pull A/M runs out of that without trying too hard. It's the highest GM% classifier in nearly all divisions.

Before I ran out of them, I picked up a 1050 from a guy that was getting out of pistol reloading and never had another problem once my brass was getting swaged during the loading process.
That's helpful! Thanks a bunch!

-They seat easy enough, not super tight like the Ginex I used during the Obama shortages.
What was your experience like with Ginex, though? I have heard that they are difficult to seat, but my 9mm brass gets swaged.
Currently, I'm trying to choose between Ginex/Servicios/Fiocchi for mostly practice ammo. They're all fairly similar in terms of price.

Had one. Auto-adjust only that was pretty much totally useless indoors. Here in cheeseland we shoot indoors for basically half the year so that's kind of important.
The zeroing process was done through non-tactile set screws, so you're kind of just spinning them like the Cmore sliderides.
You could try finding one used as they don't seem to hold their value very well if you want to try one, but I'd consider one of the more tried and true options instead personally.

I have two CZC Bull Shadows that I run without a buffer using CGW's 11 lb recoil spring. I just cracked my second Romeo 3 in the last 5000 rounds. Should I consider a buffer? Or does it have nothing to do with cracking optics?
It's probably at least contributing to it in some minimally meaningful manner, but Romeo3s are not known for their durability on slide ride guns, especially those that are reportedly quite harsh on optics (direct milled CZ75s)

Played around with my P10F a decent amount recently.
I was running Henning extensions with MBX guts and CSRG guts. I was getting nosedives quite frequently. I talked to CSRG and he said it's because of how the P10 feed ramp design is and how the P10 magazine is a little wider than the CZ75 magazine, which both gut sets functioned flawlessly in.
I think it's pretty difficult to get reliable 24+1 or 23+1 in these mags without tuning. I can probably squish the bodies and tune them like I did to my previous Czechmate mags, but just too lazy to try to deal with it right now and will just keep shooting my Shadow 2.

Buddy was able to grab one. Shoots great, bull barrel is very nice.
The new safeties are very different. They're very high and my short thumbs have trouble disengaging them easily.
-
Yes, I bought a $100 slide stop thumb rest from them middle of last year. $25 to ship a tiny piece of metal and a CC fee.
I do a lot of buying/selling online and the USPS label for something like that in a soft padded envelope would cost like $3 through pirateship.

I'm a guy who has really sweaty hands. It could be 50 degrees and my hands will still sweat. I typically re-apply chalk when I'm on deck for the upcoming stage.
I'll use whatever liquid chalk I find on Amazon for the cheapest.

Do you have a ratio that you recommend? I have a pretty big bag of regular dry chalk that I don't use because I have the liquid stuff, but as I'm running lower and lower on liquid stuff this would be helpful.

I have the Phoenix Trinity insert in mine and it fits my MPA well.
I can't remember where I read it, but I saw somewhere that the PT insert fits Cheely grips well, so I figured they would fit the MPA grips well due to their similarities and it worked out.

He shot an MPA at the Infinity shootout. Timestamp from his video here:

Using a hundo case gauge as I load.
Well.. that seems like one hell of a manual exercise. Thanks for sharing, this is interesting data. Wish I could load that much that quickly

Hey Max, how are you gauging ammo today?

Puts them right into the custom game range. So many options out there at that price point p
Yeah, most of these are a little above even the full custom range for a few builders. I don't think Atlas was worth it at their previous price point, even less so now.
-
@Maximis228 -- Pretty much identical. The people that want to shoot together and hang out together and chit chat stays the same.
The feeling is basically that we're shooting USPSA but with these targets instead. People are still following the USPSA equipment rules when shooting locap divisions like single stack, but all of the high cap guys are following the 21+1 rule for the most part.
-
WGC shoots a weekly Tuesday night league. We've had that as PCSL instead of USPSA for a couple of months now to reduce the amount of fees we pay to USPSA and keep more money within the club.
Our monthly matches are still USPSA and will likely remain USPSA for the near future.
Shadow 2 barrel
in CZ
Posted
I bought one of the CZC threaded shadow 2 barrels. Throat is slightly shorter than my factory shadow 2. Eventually I will send both barrels to Patriot for reaming.
