Do any of these places sell the bags unfilled? I almost bought a Game Changer and was turned off when I saw another $25 added on for shipping. Same with all of these I’m sure...
EDIT TO ADD: LMAO!!!! This seven pound bag of fill with free shipping on Amazon Prime literally says it's for use in Game Changer bags in the description AND the URL!!!! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EKCOATA?aaxitk=lCQiNpZsAYqSk98O0TncXA&pd_rd_i=B01EKCOATA&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=54dc821a-0937-4e6f-9da9-f8dd5443145d&pf_rd_s=desktop-sx-top-slot&pf_rd_t=301&pf_rd_i=Polypropylene+Pellets&hsa_cr_id=2007452720801&sb-ci-n=productDescription&sb-ci-v=Victory Pellets (7 Pounds) Plastic Pellets for Weighted Blankets%2C Rock Tumbling%2C Reborn Dolls%2C Stuffed Bears%2C Crafts%2C Draft Stoppers and Game Changer Bags. I dont know why the shipping is so much as the label on the box I got said 7lbs which with UPS rates should only be 9.00 or so

4.4gr of HP38 with a Precsion Delta 124gr JHP is the bomb for the Sig with a 16" or the 14.5. Keeps that dot bounce to a minimum!

I just got a Quentin Defense 9mm Upper /Lower set and you don't need an add on mag well as there lightweight combo has one built right into the lower and it loads like butter!

I guess you screwed up then........we've been down south, had no issues. I personally would not keep ANY magazine out in the sun anywhere much less on truck.
Ya your right Tim I would be screwing up just like you would if I put a mag on my truck hood and just drove around waiting until your plastic fantastic mag well melted to the hood!
But the fact is on a 100 to 110 degree day in AZ the interior temps reach over 150F sometimes. When I store my gun in the gun bag in the back seat of my truck and stop on the way home from work to practice or do what ever with the gun I expect the plastic parts to be intact and not be so soft that they fall off the gun when removing from the soft case in the back seat of my truck. At this they wont stay on the gun any more as its so deformed at this point that it goes into the garbage can. I never had a Magpul plastic part deform as its in the same bag on the gun with your magwell etc... Quality parts are tested to work in all environments not just in 80 degree heat and lower.
BTW I have been shooting bottom feed shotguns for years with 2 Plastic mags coupled together with a Aluminum Coupler and never had a issue with the sun or with dropping it on the ground during reloads
So I guess the MBX extensions really are overkill too as Aluminum to plastic is overkill. I wish MBX made a extension for the MPX mags as there stuff has proven to be a winner so far with the Glock mags.
-
Tim your plastic stuff does not work in the Arizona Summers. I have had the PCC mag wells fail and melt together when left in the truck on a 100 degree day
-
MikieM yes I am looking for a Aluminum Mag Splice not a side x side coupler. USPSA legal device!
-
Anybody seen any mag couplers for the MPX 30rd mags? I know Taccom has his best on the planet unit but I was looking for other options mainly made out of Aluminum!
NO SIDE x SIDE please
Thanks

Anyone tried the BSF 9mm carbon fiber barrel? Will the chamber take long loaded rounds?
High dollar barrel but reported to have exceptional accuracy.
http://www.firearms4less.com/9mm/613-bsf-carbon-fiber-9mm-ar15-barrel-16-grey.html
I installed one of these the other day and was not that impressed. The cool factor is how cool it looks but in reality its a stainless barrel with a carbon fiber shroud around it. Seems a bit overpriced for what you get. I am sure you're paying for the carbon fiber cover with holes in it. Didn't get a chance to shoot it for accuracy yet but will and post results. BTW it was chambered properly which was one of the first ones I have seen other than a JP that I didnt have to throat.

Here is a great option also. I love mine but do overload it once in a while
-
A few of here in the southwest have been using these bags. They have lots of room for a 16in barrel PCC and is fully adjustable in side to make compartments to store ammo, glasses, ears and lots of snacks

Richard did you see that Gibbz is making 9 mm lowers now too

Hello: I am not sure how well the timer is going to pick up the sound? I think it would be great for a steel match but not sure about a USPSA pistol match? I give credit to Tim for coming up with new ideas and trying new things. Lots of setups out there, you just have to find what works best for you. Thanks, Eric
Never thought about that but most ROs are putting the clock by my bolt as mine is super quiet also.

I wonder how that barrel sounds as the round is coming out. Kinda looks like a straight exhaust pipe..

... but what about us leftys that want a side charger on the right right side in 9mm?
I dont think such an animal exists.
GibbZ has upper for you lefty's problem is finding a 9mm bolt for lefty"s.
BTW I have been running side chargers for years and they are way faster in competitions where you have to do unloaded starts. I love mine for that as long as I can get the mag in the frickin hole. LOL
One more thing the Gibbz is a NON reciprocating handle as it has a detent that holds it in place.

Early QC10 glock lowers used to come with a feed ramp. One thing to remember is that QC10 were the original developer of the glock mag pattern AR9 lower receiver (QC10 used to be the company known as DDLES before they were taken over and renamed QC10). The point is that they have been doing the glock pattern lower longer than anyone else. QC10 eliminated the feed ramp in their glock lower for the simple reason that as the cartridge is stripped from the mag, the nose of the round actually enters the chamber while the rear of the cartridge is still held by the magazine feed lips, meaning that in the QC10 glock lower the feed ramp was not needed.
Try it with a dummy round and you'll see.
Mag well placement in the lower is the key.
I cannot comment on other brands of glock pattern lowers but my bet is that those that are having issues with feeding are experiencing "bullet jump" where the round has left contact with the mag feed lips before the round has entered the chamber or the angle of the magazine is such that the round takes a slight nose dive during feeding, which is what a feed ramp would help to cure.
Mick
Well thats really interesting Mick as I bought the lower in the pic yesterday. Maybe they realized they needed back in there now???

Thanks that's good feedback. I intend to go with a JP complete upper and a AR Gold or Hyperfire trigger, with the JP piston buffer. Saves about $500 over the cost of a complete JP rifle.
Take a look at the Trigger Tech trigger. Really nice as it feels like my open gun triggers with a bit of take up (about 11oz) before it breaks.

I'm a fan of anything Colt.......Seen lots of glock lowers fail in matches and they always say "I've never had this issue before, well, maybe once or twice at practice"....guess what? My colt style lowers do not fail.....they feed and feed well. Proof is in the puddin', and every week....I see Glock fed lowers bobble at league, never see the Colt fed lowers go down. Might be cause there are so many more Glock lowers.......but oh well.
I wish I had done more research on the Colt lowers as if your look at the lowers from QC10 they have built in feed ramps which I would think should solve the feeding issues that all the Glock lowers seem to have. Now if we can get the barrel manufacturers to throat the barrels a bit more!!
