    I don't follow many professional sports teams but when I was a kid I always enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds and Sparky Anderson (even though I was a Dodger fan). I even have a baseball signed by a few Red players of that era and the coach himself. I liked his fiery attitude, much like Bobby Knight, Woody Hayes, and Bo Schembechler. I miss those days and I will miss Sparky. RIP, sir.

    With the crazy schedules that our families have nowadays finding quality time together has become nearly impossible. I guess the planets were aligned just right yesterday. With our oldest son and I having a break from college and our youngest son not having any practice or homework we found time to have a "family" sit down at Famous Dave's BBQ. It was nice to sit back and watch my family enjoy the good food, the talking, and the laughter. But I was also a little sad knowing that it won't be but a year a half when our youngest goes off to college. They grow up so fast right before your eyes and you don't even notice. I hope we can do it again real soon.

    I like good service as much as the next person. Here recently I have encountered some rude waiters/waitresses. Now I understand that they are trying to make a living, provide for their family or it is just a part-time gig because they are going to school and for the most part are trying to do a good job, but that doesn't give you the right to stand over my table while my family and I are eating and having family time. Move along, you will get your tip. :angry2:
