Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Thanks for the help guys. Would it be okay to run the light buffer without an adjustable gas system? What about the low mass carrier?
  2. I intend to eventually get both a muzzle brake, and a low mass carrier w/ adjustable gas system. However, I'll have to do it over a long period due to my financial situation. Both would cost my close to the same praice because I'd have to thread my barrel as well. I was just wondering if I could only get one, what would make the greatest difference in reducing recoil? The carrier/adjustable gas system or the brake? Thanks, Clint
  3. From the picture the guy sent me it looks quite different from the Miculek. It's near the bottom of this page: http://www.clarkcustomguns.com/cfrifleparts.htm
  4. Thanks for the welcome. He sent me a picture from a website. They don't look very similar. Maybe this is an older model or something? Here are the 2 brakes. The Clark Comp ----> http://www.clarkcustomguns.com/cfrifleparts.htm The Miculek Brake --> http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/...leitemid=942876
  5. Dang, I'd be buying an F2 right now if I had the money... On a similar note, a local guy offered me a Clark Comp for $25. Has anyone heard of these or does someone have experience with them? I'm trying to decide whether I should just wait and buy an F2 or buy the Clark now and the F2 in the future. Thanks, Clint
  6. Hello everyone. My names Clint and it's my first time at this site. I was referred here when I asked a question about muzzle brakes on AR15.com. I have been thinking about shooting more competitively so I decided to become a member here. I'm not sure if this is the right area to post this in or not, but here goes. Like I stated before, I'm looking for a muzzle brake. Right now I'm just looking for a well priced one that'll work good. (Nothin "cheap", but nothin "top of the line" either). There is a guy locally that offered to sell me a "Clark Comp" for $25. My other option is a Miculek for about the same price. Which is more effective at decreasing muzzle just and climb? Thanks, Clint
