I just recieved my new 550 from BE and have to say this machine is the cats a&*.I was loading with a rock chucker.I set the 550 up one night and on the next loaded 600 rounds with ease.Now I have to work some OT to keep this beast fed.

A friend cleaned my SS barrel with a homemade electrochemical cleaner and after cleaning I noticed pitts in the barrel.The cleaner is a 2 D cell flashlight with a + wire that hooked to the barrel and a - wire that hooked to a steel rod.A solution of 2 parts water,1part ammonia,and 1 part white vinager was used for 45 mins.My ? is could this have pitted my barrel or were the pits always there and I just never saw them?THANKS for any help and replies!
