  1. There will be a special Classifier match this coming Saturday at the San Juan Range in Montrose, Co. Start time is 10:00 a.m. Four classifiers and a field course. Approximately 90 rounds. Hammer
  2. In looking at the last few years, the CO state has never had more than 135 shooters so if you go with that figure (which was when it was on the Front Range) you get roughly 12 shooters per squad. When you start at 8:30 in the morning you could probably shoot it in a day but its good to have the insurance of Sunday if the weather goes bad (Remember the rain on Sunday at last year's WY State match?) or if we get a better turnout.

  6. The American Handgunner World Shootoffs are back after not being held in 2005 due to the death of Paul Miller's wife Kerry. They are set for July 13-16 in Montrose, Colorado at the San Juan Range. The Winchester World Challenge is also back and can be shot on either July 9, 10 or 11. World Champ Todd Jarrett will be giving an all day class on July 10. Further information and an application is available on the website at: www.sanjuanrange.com This match is always fun and ammo intensive! Hammer
  7. I just purchased a 610 (10 mm/40 S&W) with the unfluted cylinder and 4" barrel. I want to be able to carry it hiking as well as for IPSC competition. Any suggestions on holsters and suppliers would be helpful. I would prefer to only buy one holster otherwise I would get a CR like I use for my auto and something else for carry. Thanks.
  8. I have been asked by a new shooter if his Springfield XD would be legal for production in USPSA. I see that it is legal for IPSC but there seems to be some question as to whether its trigger is double or single action
