I have been reading your articles and looking at your fine custom guns on the Brazo website. The "short and sweet" article on the evolution of the shortened open gun was very interesting. Even though I realize that the principles of an open gun and a standard gun are quite different I have the following question:
I shoot in the standard division and I am looking for a new .40. Would it make any sense to aquire a 4.15 Tactical in .40 and add some Brazo upgrades (porting slides, fiber optic, ultragrip ++), or would I be better off in choosing a Custom Pro SC series or an Edge with upgrades? The thought on the shorter gun was faster recycling and sights on target.
I am not a master, but enjoy IPSC as an advanced hobby, so price is of course an issue - especially since I live in Europe and would have to administer a lot to be able to buy one of your beautiful guns.
Thanks
G
