I recently received my SVI IMM Open pistol and as I was trying to get my reloading station set up to make 38 Super Comp I found out that Dillon is out of stock on their 38SC seating die. I was thinking that I would go with a Lee, Redding, Etc. micrometer seating die. I'll be using a SVI IMM Open pistol with 4 offset ports shooting 38SC using VV 3N38, 124G MG HP, with an OAL around 1.245
Also, what is the advantage of using an undersized sizing die? Should I use one on my reloads? I've always used Dillon dies in the past but it looks like that's about to change.
