Good luck and kick butt!

I'm thinking of picking up a single stack in .40S&W. I currently load my .40 at 1.200 OAL for my Edge. From what I've read above, I'll need to go with 10MM mags to use rounds loaded that long. Is that a true assessment? Any other options?

I had the motor die on my CV-500 after the warranty had expired. It was the same thing, it didn't completely stop..just wasn't up to full speed. For the price of a new motor and shipping, it's back up and running again.

I keep an Excel spreadsheet for each pistol that I own. I can tell exactly how many rounds I have fired through a particular pistol and how long ago the last spring change occurred.
+1
I started using an Excel spreadsheet last year when I got my new limited gun.

I'm having a similar problem with my casefeeder. About 30% of the time, I either have to stop and restart on the upstroketo allow the case to feed into the sizing die, or stop on the downstroke, and reach across with my left hand and manually push the case under the shell plate to get it in positon so the primer can be seated. Usually, this happens on the same case. It looks like either the ram is not pushing the case completely into position on the shell plate, or it is bouncing out slightly on the downstroke. Has anyone else ran into this, and if so some advice would be greatly appreciated.
I just installed mine a few nights ago. I've run 300 rounds out since. I'm also having trouble about 25% of the time. It seems to help if I move slowly on the downstroke; but that doesn't help the production rate. I've futz'd around adjusting the cam and still have the problem. When it jams, it is easily corrected with another half stroke to push the case back into the correct position. But I'd like to get it working 100% of the time.

Nice Job!!!

Just got back from it today...two words:
Awesome
Ummm....that's only one word.

Congrats Harmon. Nicely done.

If you don't mind me asking, who did the work?
-
Great job on the video!!!!! Y'all look familiar....have we met before?

Here's a question slightly off topic.
Can a club send in classifiers separtely from the whole match results? If I don't see the match results on the USPSA website, what are the chances the classifier has been sent it?

Mine loads were slightly slower at A8 than the previous weekend. Stage 7 was my first stage so we were the first to chrono on Sat morning. It was definitely cooler than the previous weekend.

The blur of the first bullet. Looks a bit like a scene from Matrix. Almost like you can see the shock wave from the bullet.
-
The bullet is visible exiting the gun in the second one.

Started shooting IDPA in 99, joined USPSA in 01 at the age of 27.

Nice Job Lee. It doesn't seem that long ago when you made A class.

So who had the lucky ticket to win the Caspian Hi-Cap?

Weak/Indeterminate Dominance: Either eye may become dominant depending on ambient lighting, visual cues etc. This manifests itself in sometimes seeing a set of aligned sights, then in another instant seeing the left or right side of the gun. People with weak/indeterminate dominance cannot simply switch from lefty to righty or vice-versa and "correct" the dominance problem. One cannot ignore the problem, because it invariably results in misses on the order of *feet* when the eyes trade dominance.
Eric has accurately described my issue and proposed a potential solution that I am definitely going to try. Thanks, Eric!
I'm going to give this a try also. Looks like I need to find some glasses that I can switch out the lenses independently.

thats just bad ass. I would have loved to do something like that while i was deployed.
That makes two of us.

Well if it is a gift, I don't know how to use it. When I focus on the target, I see two sets of sights. Both are about the same clarity (both are slighty fuzzy but one isn't any more clear or fuzzy than the other). If I draw my focus in....to the front sight, I see two targets side by side. Again, both targets are of the same clarity. I've learned to shoot at the one on the right.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
Yes, same problem here. I've been trying to train my brain to use my right eye. I use a small piece of tape on my left eye and still find myself closing my left eye on long range shots.

+1 for a soldering iron. Had a gunsmith do this while doing a few other things.
