New to this forum. Was wondering if I could get some help with fitting a barrel. The slide and frame have been fit. Just having an issue with fitting the barrel where after putting the barrel and slide together, the slide does not go all the way back. It's a Para double stack frame, p14.45ss, the slide is also Para but the barrel is a Rock Island, all govt size. Frame is ramped hence bought the rock island para ramped barrel, could not locate any para barrels for sale. After putting the slide and barrel together and sliding it onto the frame, I can get the barrel to line up with the frame ramp, but when I try to move the slide back, it doesn't move much and basically the slide and barrel are just locked tight. Has anyone run into a similar issue and if so, what was the solution. Any advice would be appreciayed. Thank you!
