Hi all. I have an old 9mm STI Trojan on which I would like to put a red dot sight.
I am convinced that a red dot with three-dot sights is faster than a red dot without any backup sights. Am I correct in this?
If so, it raises a question for me. When I look at the guys with the C-more sights on their 1911s, they seem to be faster than the three-dot guys. Yet none of those guys with the frame-mounted C-mores I see have three-dot sights. Am I missing something? It seems to be counter to what I expect.
Just trying to learn before I decide what I might do to my gun. Thanks for your thoughts.
