  1. You shouldn't get any issues when mixing primers in a pistol, revolvers are a different story. I'm a bullseye shooter, and for pistols we generally use what we can get. Unless it's the white box of Russian decent I think it is, then you could encounter endless headaches.

  2. Yes sir. A double charge is a big possibility. I load 3.7gr, with 124gr bullet. and just looking in the case, more than enough room in there to easily double charge. I got confused once while loading a batch. Needless to say, I weighed every loaded round to confirm that all were good loads.

Best to be on the safe side

  3. I fully agree with all who says that the SDB is an obvious choice if you only using pistol. Also easy on the pocket with no additional extras. As it already comes with a calibre preset to your liking, all you would need is an extra calibre conversion kit for anything else you plan to load. Just my 2 cents

  4. I have started reloading on a 550 recently (upgraded from a Pro 1000). My question is: Is the mirror/camera necessary? The reason I'm asking is that when I prime the cases in the normal operation, I tend to lean slightly forward on the upstroke. This then gives me overhead sight on the load in the case prior to indexing and place the bullet. Just what I do. Am I doing something wrong?
