I presently have a Shadow 2 and trade off shooting Limited minor (trash) and Production. I'm considering purchasing a second slide milled for a dot to shoot Carry Optics and have been offered a complete SP01 Tactical suppressor ready model for an appealing price that is competitive with what just a slide would cost me. Would I be able to send off the SP01 Tactical slide to get milled appropriately for CO and use that slide on my Shadow 2 frame? Would the Shadow 2 slide function on the SP01 Tactical frame? Would I be able to switch the threaded barrel out for the non threaded Shadow 2 barrel between slides and frames without fitting of the locking lug?
I understand there are various differences, mainly I believe the SP01 has a firing pin block and the Shadow 2 doesn't and I'm honestly just not sure if this is a feasible concoction of parts here. It seems more appealing to me to have two functional firearms vs a very expensive spare slide. I am new to CZ stuff, most of my experience is with Glock and HK pistols which are pretty much plug and play legos in comparison.
