  1. I have a couple competition hammers with very slight design differences and the ghost hammer. I love the look of the ghost hammer, but in actual use I find that I vastly prefer the competition hammer or even just a normal shadow ring hammer.

The "jimping" cuts on the ghost hammer are so shallow that if your thumb is a bit sweaty you could slip off the hammer. There's just no "bite" like the other hammers to provide traction the surface of your finger.

It apparently has hooks cut identical to the competition hammer, and I feel no difference between the two.

If you want a great looking hammer like I did, you'll be happy with it. However there is a downside you should know about before buying.

Do you have a link by any chance

While you're there check out the RCTech stuff. Sort of interesting...

I should say that I've always used the slow boat from Taipei option because shipping is about 8 or 9 USD. It's consistently been about 7-12 days for arrival, but the orders always arrive. I input the tracking number into the USPS informed delivery and it updates like any typical USPS package once clearing customs in NYC.

Cesar-shop has killer prices on, hard to find in the US, CZ UB items.

So decided to order them. 21$ shipping.  And PayPal seems the primary way of  paying. I do not  have PayPal. They say you can use CC but do not tell you how.

And are they honestly worth $105

Yes they're worth buying, but why not use cesar-shop. They're GTG, let you pay by CC, and have lower shipping than straight from armanov.

For all those recommending the armanovs, no one has made mention of the best swag ever. They send a key to unlock the shopping carts at places where you have to use a quarter in order unlock them. Think of all the money you will save on "renting" shopping carts without wasting quarters.

Huh? I have 3 sets of Armanov's and never got this key you mentioned. Pic?

Now i am confused  which one Lok Palm Swell and Armanov SpidErgo. It looks like LOK  has a bit bigger  Palm swell .  does any one have both? i searched for a compare between the two. and found nothing.  almost considering just staying with the factory ones LOL they just look like s$%t LOL

Go with the Armanov's, if you don't like them I think you should be able to get your money back on a quick resale. They're relatively rare and really new grips - only been out 2 months.

Are these the palm swell ones? I though i saw a palm swell option recently but when i checked the website they looked more flat.

If they're Armanov Spidergo grips, then they are palm swells. Pictures don't adequately capture the actual contour.

  7. I've been using these for the past 2 months. Liked them so much I bought a second set a month ago and another recently.

They're aluminum palm swell grips that fit better than lok grips and are much more grippy too. It's hard to see the contour here, but they're excellent for keeping your hands in place.

The orange is also a nice match for factory orange parts...

It started as an experiment — a grand melding of Dan Wesson and CZ pistols. Borrowing the crisp single action fire control group of a DW 1911 and combining it with the ergonomics and capacity of a CZ, the resulting pistol emerged as something great.

Designed initially for competition use, the DWX has evolved into much more than that, with both full-size and compact variants. Its locked breech barrel system is simple, ditching the standard 1911 link system and using CZ-style takedown via the slide stop. The easier take-down will be familiar to any hammer-fired CZ owner, as is removing the Match-grade barrel due to the bushing-less barrel system that resembles a P-10 or P-09/P-07.

Double-stack magazines boost the capacity of the full-size to 19+1 with flush bases, and many standard 1911 parts enable gunsmiths and competitive shooters to tune the X just the way they like it. Sights are easily customized, using a 1911-style dovetailed sight in the front and a CZ Shadow 2 style sight cut in the rear.

With the grip angle and contours that have made the CZ 75 a stand-out in the realm of pistol ergonomics, the DWX is a natural fit to most hands. The full-size DWX uses standard CZ 75 grips, while the compact DWX uses those from a 75 Compact. Corresponding magwells for the 75 series are compatible as well.

With so many ways to tune and customize, the DWX is sure to shine in USPSA Limited Division!

Full-size DWX pistols use a magazine based on the P-09/P-10 F, while compact variants use that of a 75 Compact.

    Not for me LOLOLOL

Was trying to find a good video on how to do the conversion and nothing

There's nothing to the conversion. You just remove the trigger and swap it for the SA trigger. You also remove the disconnecter from the hammer. Put everything back together and adjust/loctite the travel screws.

  10. I fit a CZ UB 0.0 disconnecter in a Phantom, it resets in DA but in SA if the gun is tilted on its side it will not release the hammer. I'm guessing I'll need to take a bit more off the SA hook of the disconnecter.

Has anyone seen this problem before?

  11. I have a 75 SA frame. FPB delete on the slide, shadow sear, shadow narrow hammer. The trigger bar return spring has plenty of pressure on the trigger bar. The SA trigger has both set screws removed currently. The gun dry fires perfectly and always resets.

When firing at the range I can only get 1-3 or so rds before failure to reset. The hammer locks back on the sear, but the trigger will not drop the hammer because the trigger does not actuate the sear. Once I was able to get an audible "click" reset by pulling the hammer back more - which allowed me to fire the gun. This is occurring about 50-75% of the time.

I am able to resolve this issue by doing the following: with the failure to reset and the hammer cocked and locked into the sear, I can use the tip of my knife to press on the sear thereby getting that audible click, which then allows me to fire the gun. I can also remove the slide and with the gun's failure to reset, but with hammer cocked and locked into the sear, I can press down on the sear cage (there is a slight gap between the rear sear cage "fingers" and the frame shelf that the sear fits into), by pressing down on the cage I get the same audible "click", which allows the gun to fire.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

  12. iLLWTUN.pngNot much love for Steyr in here, but the new MF pistol just cleared customs in the USA and should be for sale soon.

I'll be buying one. Will update when I get it...

First observation: holster options are non-existent.
