  1. So checked the OT screw and that didn't help. Took the pistol down to frame with the exception of the trigger and trigger bar. Checked the sear cage, cleaned and did a light lube and put it all back together. The problem remains...sort of. Now, the hammer won't lock back when the slide is racked. I think it's time to see a local CZ gunsmith as I've hit my limit in terms of how to fix this crazy problem. Just can't figure it out.
  2. Good idea! What I've been reading in the last 24 hours or so is that the over-travel screw can be problematic. I will certainly keep that in mind. Thanks very much for the suggestion!
  3. Just got back from a shooting match (.22cal precision pistol). I'm about to venture back into the guts of my TSO. What you suggest above just might be what happened. Thank you for the suggestion and I will certainly check it out. Wish me luck!
  4. I did not break up the sear cage/safety. Do you think I should take the sear package all the way down and rebuild? Perhaps something got misaligned but I can't see why. I've field stripped the gun many times for cleaning and never had this happen. Thank you for the suggestions yigal.
  5. Thanks for the help! I only field strip cleaned the gun. Did not take it all the way down. I always cock the trigger when I'm field stripping the pistol. Then I release the hammer slowly once broken down. It's when I went to cock the trigger to test the action that this problem arose. First time. I will check the trigger over-travel screw, but I've had no issues with that to date. Fairly new pistol...may 600 rounds through it.
  6. Just finished a cleaning on my TSO. The trigger was in the cocked and locked position when I reinstalled the slide and pin. Now, when I pull the trigger, the hammer won't fall. I tried racking the slide, inserting an empty magazine, racking the slide with no magazine and nothing is working. Took the slide off and repeated the procedure...still no luck. Gun worked perfectly before the cleaning. The safety can be moved to the "safe" position (up) but when returned to the firing position, still the hammer won't drop. If anybody has an idea what's going on here, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance!
