Hey guys- quick question-, I have 2 M&P 2.0 full size 5"... 1 is standard(fde) with Apex trigger 1 Is bone stock Performance Center (ported) with vortex rds- can I swap the non ported barrel into the performance center gun? are the rods and springs the same, or does the spring match the barrel? I am fully aware that putting a ported barrel in non ported slide= Kaboom.. is there any negative as far as wear etc? this would allow me to shoot the PC in Carry Optics IDPA--- it is legal--and physically fits just fine-- I just want to be sure its safe for my gun. thanks,Fred

Smith just added 2.0 performance center to thier sight.. So I'm just gonna go that way

my parents are in winston- any good place to shoot IDPA down there?

well what would be the disadvantage of a pro series 1.0 vs 2.0 they don't yet make 2.0 pro--- I know the trigger is a difference- but i would put an apex in it.

Hey Guys and Ladies, I have a 5" M&P 2.0 . I have removed the safety(filled with plugs) and installed an Apex flat trigger--- absolutely love the gun! Now I am getting the itch to play with a red dot-- any help with 1.0 Core-- pro or PC with apex ---vs 2.0? 4.25 vs 5" with a red dot? I know 5" is better for sights.. ported or no? thanks!

I grabbed a hiviz (cheap I know) front sight.. it's 160 h 125w The Dawson was 180h 100w My rear is 135 w... Seems better and poi at 15yds is better... I'll have to try it in a competition to see

Ok- so I picked up a M&p 2.0 5" 9mm to use for 3 gun,uspsa, steel challenge and idpa- I put dawson competition sights and a apex trigger in/on it-- I was looking for faster tracking of the front sight--- so black target rear with f.o. front(skinny)I am having accuracy problems with it--It's not the gun--it holds .75" at 15 yards bagged---I was starting to think maybe i'm just not as good as I thought ---but I took my shield(bone stock- 3 dot) to IDPA today. I shot a back up gun in the ssp division.. A big disadvantage I'm told .. well I shot sharpshooter on the qualifier... I am very confused as to why I shoot this subcompact better and fasterI do wear glasses and feel like on the shield that the front and rear sights are on the same plane(as if the rear sight had 3 dots to align)help please
