For the most part if it's a standard AR pattern yes. Bolts will need central weights removed if solid / non-JP.

Best advice is to just get a JP upper though. 😀

Thanks for the reply. The only reason for not wanting a JP upper is I was wanting just a cheaper 9mm upper to play with.

since I have the JP BCG that will still work in other uppers...is that correct?

    thanks again

When I sell, they can pay any way they want, but I don't ship product until

    the funds clear.

    I've never bought anything.

If I buy at my local range, I exchange cash for product.

I ain't going to send money or product before I get mine, first.     :eatdrink:

Yes cash is best but only good if local. I am thinking of selling something and like you said with cashiers checks etc.., it takes probably a week or Tito clear.

I wonder if there are any guaranteed instantly verifiable funds like through post office or UPS or?

It depends 100% on bullet and powder. I assume you shoot coated.

A plated or JHP with no exposed lead, means pretty much never. As long as it’s run with a clean powder.

If you do shoot coated bullets...I shoot round nose Acme bulletin over HP38 and have the gmr with the black barrel, what is the best way to clean the comp build up. I have a lot of inventory and may change when these run out but kinda stuck with these until the.

As my eyes have started to go bad, I had a pair of shooting glasses made. Medium distance focus in the right lens, long distance focus in the left. Took a bit of getting used to but but with both eyes open and centered on the target my left eye has the target in focus while the right eye look "through" the sights at the target but the sights are in focus. Both eyes open all the time.

Do you only wear these glasses right before you shoot or can you leave them on? I was wondering if the different prescriptions make it difficult to wear while at the range but not shooting?

  5. I agree with this being a little steep. Also if the angle bothers you now from pure appearance standpoint it always will. Looking at the pics from the other CZ’s it looks like there is plenty of room to get some one to flatten it out if you wanted.

How long ago did you guys place your orders? I put mine in at the end of June.

Last week in June for me. Hopefully it’s close to shipping I was told 6-8 weeks for shipping.

  7. Thank you for all the input. Based off this discussion , there may be some cleanliness advantages to switch from HP38 and maybe consistency which I’ll need to check., but I think I’m going stick for HP38 for now. Which is good because I bought 8lbs and was second guessing myself.

There’s nothing wrong with HP38/Win231. There’s just better powders than HP38/Win231 out there. I’m using Sport Pistol for my pistol and PCC loads. It’s cleaner and cheaper compared to Win 231(same s HP38) that I used to use.

Thanks for the reply ,Are the main differences going to be the price and cleanliness? I wasn’t sure if the burn rate or ? Had some kind of burnt rate / burnt recoil advantage.

  9. I load all my 9mm with HP38. This with mostly 147 grain low power factor stuff (130ish PF) I shoot mostly in pistols but have just recently bought a PCC. I see most people don’t run the HP38. What advantages are there to running a different powder. I bought HP38 because it was around the cheapest , seems to meter well, and isn’t dirty but have nothing to compare it to.

If you stay at this game long soon it'll hit you that you can buy 5000 pieces of 9mm brass for a hundred bucks or so. That beats the heck out of pecking for brass instead of thinking about the task at hand. Especially if it's 90+ degrees and you want to go grab beer and wings with the gang.

I never thought of it that way but your right 5000 pieces would last me along time.

  11. I have an astigmatism and in the past sold my aimpoint because of it. Then bout a sig RX with Romeo red dot and sold it because of the star burst. Then I looked around for an eye doctor to see if I could get a different prescription to help. That helped but then I saw one of the Holosun 510c at a store and looked through it while the dot isn’t perfect it’s pretty close. So I guess the way it projects is a little different but worked for me.
