Anyone actually get an AMG Commander this year?
I gave them money 4 months ago and haven't heard a peep.
-
Tungsten guide rod + Legion grip with a +5 TTI basepad and Romeo1 is 44 oz. Grip weight alone is not going to make up 15 oz.
-
Feels like they had someone lobbying hard to fit into carry optics, going from 45 oz to 59.
Why not ramp it up if they were really trying to let the division "develop" organically?

I was cleaning my X5 today after shooting a few matches and when I got done I decided to test the trigger on my gauge. 10 pulls
Post Voluntary Recall build, Gray Gun Competition Trigger kit, GG Fat Rod guide and 14# spring, Vortex Razor on a Springer plate, now just the TXG grip to go.
0 lbs, 0.0 oz!

I follow.
Get well. Toys can be replaced.

Are you shooting a P320 in open division?
Should be legal all the way down to production, according the the latest ruling.
-
There's two SKUs, one with grip weight + magwell, and one with neither.
There's roughly a $50 price gap.
-
Yong Lee favors his RX over his X5.
He cites faster return to target due to better balance (the bull barrel making it too nose heavy), though slightly more felt recoil.
-
UPC is 798681619054 if you want to search inventory.
I just backordered from SWFA so I can stop checking everywhere, $209 (no magwell).
-
Picks aren't great because they're too pointy and dig themselves into the plastic.
Paper clip is really your best bet.
-
There's no real secret to either, just takes practice.

A guy had one in a local match this past weekend and he had problems of the gun not going into battery. Seems par for the course for a new sig to have some problems out of the gate. I like the idea and hopefully it’s a winner.
LOL!
And then you get those who complain that pre-tension is what makes a gun accurate, and the lockup isn't tight enough on their example when in battery.
Moral of the story is, everyone needs something to bitch about.

Maybe they're looking to fix the brass hitting the optic issue?
-
CO, yes, production, not until they add to the list, unless you find a way to cut 5 oz off of it.

To those that have shot one, is it really as flat and soft as advertised?
Yeah. Just like every other gun ever sold before it (and after), flattest shooting gun on the market.

The Legion was so bad, I could see the slide moving up as I compressed the take up on the trigger. I could hold the slide and move it around a significant amount. Enough that I was worried about accuracy. I asked if they had another one so I could compare but it was the only one they got. Anyone else handle one yet and did it have massive battle rattle? I didn’t buy it and left sad and disappointed
Eh. This is pretty common on all striker fired guns, X5s, regular P320s, Glocks, you name it.

That’s going to be awfully close with a TTI +5 for CO.
Can you verify if there is a factory grip weight?
Not really. The whole +5 baseplate is 1.6 oz, and you're already swapping out an aluminum one, the incremental weight will be less than an ounce.
-
The Grayguns trigger usually measures closer to 3 lb.
-
It's unlikely they'll put a sub-3lb trigger in any striker-fired production gun, but I could be wrong.
-
You have a DPP on a G43?!
Lowest and narrowest is probably Shield RMSc and the closely related Sig Romeo 0 that's supposed to hit soon (which, is likely manufactured by Shield since it shares the same footprint).

Are these legal in anything but Limited and Open?
-
Just got this in my email, quick Google search has told me a few things (I am a new member as of this year, and don't know the politics). Can anyone share more info about the candidates?
- Ben Stoeger got banned last year directly by Mike Foley for some seemingly insignificant internet spat, has that ban stood?
- Foley claims credit for growing membership, what has he changed to deserve that credit?
- Mike Valentine seems like a fine chap, all I've seen is one post, which doesn't provide much guidance: "printed rulebooks (why?), more clubs (not sure the need, but I don't have a national view), make nationals more important (how?), fix the classification system (agree there's some opportunity here, but also no details).
Any details?

I think the contour rule is so you don't mold/cast in a slide racker and call it production. As long as it's shaped like a block and you don't mold in any extraneous features, it's passes.

I sent him a message, got the standard copy pasta canned reply, no possible ship dates, where I am in the queue, or anything. I guess he seems reputable enough that I'll just keep waiting.
