1.
From a design standpoint, the S2O is aimed squarely at Production Division*. but there is still some uncertainty as to whether it is considered the same as the regular Shadow 2, or being treated as its own separate model. If separate, it would not be legal for Production until 2000 units are imported into the country. As per eerw above, there are only 80 units so far, so it will be a while till we hit 2000 in the USA.

* Note, you could shoot it in Limited Division as well, but would theoretically be at a disadvantage compared to true Limited guns which shoot Major Power Factor ammo, with magwells, and single action only triggers, etc.
Other than the minor factor, you can easily add a magwell and single action.

2. But is the Shadow 2 Orange Production legal in USPSA?
I'm curious as well, I'm assuming it would need to have 2000 sold to be, but it is still considered a Shadow 2 so there's that....

3. Recoil and hammer spring.
Dawson front sight.
Grips of your choice.

It will never cease to amaze me how many people ruin their guns by trying to follow the "more stuff" model. Sure, my Mink gun is cool, but it's only marginally "better" than my stock gun. Both are noticeably nicer than guns with tons of aftermarket parts and home gunsmithing.
Why replace the front sight?

4. I think out of the box they are probably all closer in mechanical accuracy than many if not most shooters will be able to distinguish.  The way I understand it is stock CZ bushings with their steel quality can wear earlier than either the Cajun 10x bushings or the 1911-like ones on the CZ Custom Accu Shadows (of which I own one).  So if you do a lot of shooting, then I guess over time the Accu or the 10X will develop less wear-in and play at lockup, aiding in both accuracy and consistency.  As it stands right now, my regular base SP01 Shadow seems just as accurate as my Accu Shadow (maybe even seems a bit more since it has a bigger from fiber optic and maybe I get on target faster).  But since I shoot both a lot in competition, I'll probably get the 10x bushing for the regular Shadow sometime soon.  Out of the box though, even the regular Shadow is a tack-driver.
Is the CZC Accu production legal in USPSA?

I'm using the Springer basepads, Grams 11 coil springs, and Grams followers.
Is the follower installed correctly? I have this exact setup with no issues. I had more issues with the factory setup than I did with this setup. My factory baseplates exploded when it hit the ground, it would often rattle when loaded.

6. It was an extra red dot I have in my parts bin. I just want to try the amber dot and see if I’m going to like it. I’ll be going to the range tomorrow and test it.

Just by dry firing, I like the bigger window on the slide ride. The trijicon’s window is way smaller compared to the slide ride but a lot lighter though.

I also have a vortex viper 6 MOA as a spare.
I've got the venom, but thinking about picking up the DPP

7. Use professor Atlas’ polishing tutorial. I did the the installation and polishing myself using Kneelingatlas’ tutorial. Just go slow and have patience when you’re doing it. It was my first ever CZ pistol to tear down and polish and I’m glad I did it. I learned a lot.
It's my first CZ tearing down as well and I didnt find it hard at all. I've read the tutorial but I hear that CZC & CGW have little secrets that make their polishing just a bit better. I think in the end I will try it since I'm going to go harder in production then limited.

Yes it is.

in fact, just got done installing the shadow2 mag release pad and blending the magwell on my TSO.

What made you choose a Trijicon?

9. I'm not comfortable doing the polishing myself, fearing I may go too far. Can I get CGW parts and send it to CZC for trigger job and comp hammer? Or would this be just throwing money away?

10. I see guys like George w the red dot mounted above barrel and slide racker. Is the racker removable for disassembly or do you have to unscrew the mount etc?
It's removable. Mounts to the rear sight track

11. where do u see island barrel in this slide?
and it's  100% legal in limited div.
the only thing that i didn't liked  is the holes thru serial number.
Defacing a serial number on the frame is illegal, but on the slide it's no big deal. I do hear you on cosmetically though. I think the way CZC does it is a window on the top

More pics of the top view cuts and the racker. I have the same one and I was wondering if they could make the cut without going all the way through

13. I shot Limited Minor for years - was never going to come in first anyway, and it's what I had,
and I used 9mm ammo which was cheaper, and it held more rounds than a major round.

Few advantages, if you're just having fun.

Serious disadvantage if you're serious - then you definitely want to shoot Major -

The Shadow and 2011 are purely personal choices - YOU might want to stick with a Glock 34    [emoji4]
This is pretty accurate. I purchased a CZ TSO 9mm for limited minor. My stock in ammo is cases of 9mm, I wasn't going to start switching to 40. While I had lots of fun, what is ruining it for me is that I live in NY and my 20+ round mags (I've got 8) are useless and trying to be serious forced me to switch to production. I picked up a Shadow 2 for this. While I now have to dumb down the 17+2 mags, at least I'm on even ground with the rest of the competition and not having to worry about minor and major.

I really like Limited and will probably go to matches outside of NY to fully enjoy it. I will continue to shoot LM, again I have an abundance of 9mm ammo. All my handguns are 9mm. My one and only 40 was sold when I decided to keep the handgun lot all 9mm.

If I decided I can't live without limited minor I will pick up a 2011 in 40, even shooting LM10

14.
Or I could just cut down the thumb rest so it doesn't interfere.
I did that and it still didn't feel right in my hand. You mileage may vary. I just got the Alex thumb rest and will install it when I get back from my trip.

15. I have the angled thumbrest from CZ and it needs to be modified to work. You need to add a spacer to clear slide release and use factory screws or use pin for slide release and cut factory screws down. It was designed to use with the optic mount. I ordered the Alex to give a try, but I think I'm going to end up ordering the nitro fin.

16.
The TSO is half the price and you can work on it yourself.

On a separate note, it's officially the off season so the 9mm barrel came out. I forgot how ridiculous the TSO is converted to 9mm.

Are the 40 barrels out?

17. That one does if you get the single hole version and drill out the holes yourself. A bit of modding. My only concern was if you keep applying pressure will it constantly need adjusting. Let me know if you get it and how it holds up after a few matches

I picked up an adjustable thumb rest, hoping I could adapt it to work for the TSO.  Looks like there will be a like new thumb rest going on the FS forum soon.

The ones from Alex aren't adjustable.  Anyone know if there's an adjustable rest that fits the TSO.

18. You can see in that last photo that they even flute the guide rod tunnel
It looks like you have an CZC extended safety, does your weak hand thumb (base) make contact with it? It does with me and my wider factory thumbrest. I'm thinking of trying the nitrofin because it looks like it sits lower

19. I am not positive on weight. I can weight it when I get it but it also has the slide racker
Are you able to share cost of what you had done?
