the slide has to be wider to fit RMR mount. Otherwise the screw holes will be outside.

Let the market and shooters figure out the lifespan of the mounts/dots on a major pf gun. I've got a spare 40 slide that I'd have milled and run it on my backup gun to try it out and see how long a Holosun and/or SRO will last with 172pf ammo...I've been considering doing it anyway. But somehow, I think it'd be OK or improvements would be made, seeing as there are 45s and 10mms running around in the wild already with dots on the slide.
more variety is good thing, hope it all works out one way or the other

If lots of people choose LO major, that would be a pretty good indicator that this is what the division should be.
Sounds like an option. Just keep in mind that there is no such gun for major pf for sell yet, and even there will be, the major pf could make any red dot on slide so easy to break and turn into maintenance nightmare.

I've had a 9mm tac ultra since they came out and it's probably my favorite handgun. My only complaint is that I have to pry it away from my wife when she's at the range with me. I replaced a few parts with wilson combat stuff, like the slide stop and the barrel bushing. Polished the feed ramp into the barrel and blended it but didn't take too much. Put some dawson sights on it and smoothed out the trigger a little. It really has been a fun gun. I used it in 3 gun a good bit and it worked well. Has anyone run the STI mags in one enough to give a reliability report? I wouldn't mind trying the 140mm ones if they work well
STI won't fit. Buy this mag instead:

works well without any fix.

Both are good shooters with good price too. SFX is more accurate out of box. Weight is a big different. And red dot support is a plus if that's what you want.

Does anyone try to contact SIG and see if they can replace the existing legion slide with a new one with RMR holes? Would be great if that's possible. This looks like a nice improvement to install SRO. But I can't justify the price to buy a new slide just for that.

The upper side bar of legion trigger is shorter than standard p320, it gives extra leverage to press the trigger. It is a copy of grayguns trigger design.

good work! No need to buy those over priced triggers.

They are good company. Shipping is fast.

you never know if you are going to stick with one brand of red dot. So mos is much more convenient.

go for it, barrel is cheaper than buy another gun

don't use striker spring that is too light, make a good platform not reliable anymore. Test the limit, and back off a little.
-
extended one works better than regular to reach
-
glock should eat anything, but heavier one may feel better recoil

Hey guys, if i push on my slide i can move it almost a milimeter down to the grip module, if i stop pushing it, it comes back up. Is that a thing to worry about or is that normal?
It is 'normal' on legion, but never seen that on any other hand guns.

Nothing works as well as the factory mag

if you fit nicely, it will make some difference in accuracy

Springer Precision now makes a paddle style extended mag release for the p320. Bruce Grey says that all of mag releases are interchangeable between the older grip style and the x5.
out of stock right now, waiting for it

Does anyone know whether this magazine works on Rock island tac fs hc with magwell?

I heard the 19 Rd version Remington mag works, wondering if the cheaper price 18 Rd version works with some dremal work or maybe change to a aluminum base pad

The RIA hi cap 1911 is very nice gun. I love it. But it does need a lot of work to make it as good as a 2011 with steel grip. It can get to that level, but it is not easy, and not cheap either. So in the end, you may not save much comparing to go with Prodigy + steel grip route. And the Pra style double stack 1911 just doesn't have as many options for parts (talking about Para specific parts such as trigger, extended mag release, mag, mag well, etc. ), surely many other parts share the same standard of 1911/2011, which is good. I'd say it is not worth it to go with RIA, since you may end up change most of the factory parts to something better unless you enjoy doing so. If I would start over with a new build, I would build a 2011 gun.
