  1. Yeah, I was wondering about that, the thing is when I barely bell the cases I get that affect to on the final crimp. I think there is something drastically wrong with the powder die and the way that it's belling the cases. I don't have a case trimmer so I can't do much about trimming the cases so what I'm going to do is order one and then see if I can use it to straighten this out. I think the brass (coming from a local dealer) may be different lengths and this is why I'm having the difficulty as opposed to the .45 caliber I was loading where it was all new brass and the seating die is alot different. This is my first attempt at 9mm so it's gonna be hard.
  2. Hi Everyone, I have just set up my 550b with all dillon dies and everything works well up till the point when I want to seat the dies after belling them. I bell the case, and am not getting the depth enough when belling to seat the case to the right depth. The other problem is also because of this (I think) is that when I do the crimp on the case, I can actually spin the bullet (which is loose) after the crimp. Did I miss something? I have done over 5000 rounds of .45 acp on this same press w/o any of these problems. I am using once fired brass that I bought locally and the bullets are the right diameter. Any ideas would be helpful I'm really at my wits end with this (by the way I already replaced the powder bar with a new one).
